Freelance Science Communicator

I’m an intrepid scientist who is exceptionally curious about the natural world, constantly pursuing new experiences that challenge and deepen my understanding of nature – and our place in it.  From chasing monkeys through the Amazon Rainforest to searching for Komodo dragons in Indonesia, I’ve been fortunate to observe and study some of the planet’s most unique wildlife and ecosystems.  My enthusiasm for biology and affinity for extreme habitats led me to the rainforests of Madagascar, where I designed and carried out my own research program on poison frogs for my Ph.D. research.  I now merge my interests in science, communication, and adventure to creatively bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and public understanding.
